The Necessary Bridge
This image depicts the necessary bridge between Adam and Abram.
The reasons are:
- who can pass on the experiences of Creation, Adam.
- who informs Noah of the upcoming judgement and can pass on Adam’s testimony, Enoch
- for this, Enoch must meet Adam and Noah in his life, so the recorded time of ‘taken’ is in my opinion not correct
- if Enoch is taken at 365, he will not meet Noah, only Adam.
- he might have been taken 200 or 300 years later, or even at the age of 777, having lived 2 x 700 years. The Book of Jubilees, the LXX and the Samarian Pentateuch are juggling with 100’s of years as if something was not adding up correctly in the original Hebrew manuscripts (Not the MT, since the MT is from 1000AD and did not exist when Jubilees, the LXX and the Pentateuch were written).
Here is a list of inconsistencies:
- in the MT, the generation of Cainan, as the son of Arphaxad, is missing. Jubilees, LXX and Pentateuch include him
- Years from the Flood to Abrahams birth in the MT comes to 2 + 35 + 30 + 34 + 30 + 32 + 30 + 29 + 130 = 352 years
- Year of Abrams birth counted back from the temple: 966 + 480 + 430 + 75 = 1951BC. Therefore, according to the MT, the end of the Flood occurred in 1951 + 352 = 2303BC . This brings the Creation year to 2303 + 1 + 1656 = 3960BC, which is 44 years short from the earlier described principle of 4004BC.
- Inserting Cainan’s birth with a 44 year span, would correct this: brings the year of the Flood to 2347BC (beginning) and Creation to 4004BC.
- In The Book of Jubilees, a number of patriarchs will have survived the Flood if this would have taken place in 1308AM.
- In the LXX, Noah and Shem have died before the declaration of inheritance was executed by Noah.
- who is responsible for lifting all and everything over the Flood, taking Adam’s testimony and Enoch’s writings, Noah
- who can pass on the experiences of the Flood and the Tower of Babel, Shem. Shem hands over all what was lifted over the Flood to Abram (Noah has already died and did not meet Abram)
- Shem was most certainly present at the Tower of Babel, as the entire earthly population went to Shinar. All nations, all descendants of the sons of Noah participated in the Tower of Babel event.
- Enoch is the bridge between Adam and Noah. Shem is the bridge between Noah and Abram.
Through Abraham, Isaak, Jacob, Levi, Kohath and Amram did Moses receive the source information for Genesis.
